| Last weekend's favorite quote..."This is JA-ME-SAH!!" My most Ja-me-sah (fun) moment from the weekend was dancing with my roomates and Scottie in our living room, while watching MTV. Scottie you got moves.
Lately, with my wallet being on the thinner side...i've been on the hunt for the cheapest but most satisfying meals / foods.
Cosco: $2.50 (pizza and soda) / Mr. Lee's: $1.82 (chicken sandwich) / Forgot the name of the place: $3.81 (carne asada burrito and soda)
Any other suggestions??? No obvious fast food places, and under 5 bucks. | | |
| Yesterday...I FOUND OUT THAT I'M ALLERGIC TO THE SUN!! I'm serious!!! Which explains my rashes on my arms. When i found out, it sounded like a ridiculous diagnosis. Especially for me who loves being outdoors, and my skin seems to love soaking up the rays. Does anyone else have this type of allergy? | | |
| I really like playing tennis! Growing up I enjoyed playing sports. There were times when I fantasized about wanting to be certain athletes; like Lisa Leslie for the love of basketball, or Mia Ham who is simple CRAZY. Now, because of a new found interest in tennis, i find thoughts of wanting to put myself in the tennis shoes of Steffi Graf at her peak. I already sense when I have kids…I’m going to have to hold back on the desires of wanting one of my girls to become an athlete. “Honey, let’s go play outside…”

Biggest complaint right now…I HATE ONLINE COURSES. If there’s an option never take them. It has the potential of torturing you slowly and increasingly.

READ ONLY IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME!!!
I just took the Keirsey Temperament / Personality Test: I’m a ISFJ!
People like, Former President Bush and Mother Teresa are also ISFJs. ISFJs are labeled as the PROTECTOR GUARDIAN type.
- The primary desire is to be of service to others as guarding others against life’s pitfalls and perils…seeing to their safety and security (Messiah complex).
- They go about their task of caretaking modestly, unassumingly (like to generally downplay things, stay low key or under the radar).
- They are not as outgoing and talkative, except with close friends and relatives. They can chat tirelessly about the ups and downs in their lives from topic to topic as they talk over their everyday concerns (get me talking and I can talk for 20mins straight…right Keili? I admit I like to debrief at the end of the day, helps me to process things).Their shyness with strangers is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness (people who don’t really know me say that I’m pretty reserved).
- Protectors have a highly developed puritan work ethic, and that play must be earned-if indulged in at all. The least hedonic of all types, willing to work long. Thoroughness and frugality are also virtues. When they undertake a task, they will complete it if at all humanly possible; and they know the value of material resources and abhor the squandering or misuse of these resources. Protectors are quite content to work alone; indeed, they may experience some discomfort when placed in positions of authority, and may try to do everything themselves rather than insist that others do their jobs (True…).
- With their extraordinary commitment to security, and with their unusual talent for executing routines, they do well in many careers that have to do with conservation: curators, private secretaries, librarians (too boring but I do prefer security), middle-managers, police officers, and especially general medical practitioners (This is very affirming to find out).
I also fantasize about wanting to take over the world, like Pinky and the Brain…for Jesus of course. I NEED a MAN…who would be my Brain, and I won’t mind being their Pinky. God who will that lucky man be?!?!?

| A new week and new experiences…
WHERE: Las Vegas
*** I stayed at the Primm Resort Hotel. It’s 40minutes outside of Las Vegas or from the Strip. You may know it as the hotel with the big roller coaster. Has anyone had the chance to ride it? I’ve stopped there several times, and seen it running only once. WHY DID I STAY AT THIS HOTEL? Every hotel with booked, with NASCAR racing in town, and Because of all sorts of conventions (i.e. industrial equipment, concrete).
HOW LONG: 24 hour stay (highlights)
*** For the conservatives or first timers…if you want to try your luck, you should try playing dollar slot machines. With only $20! When you triple your money or more walk away, if you lose your money, run away. So, with 10 mins. before heading to the airport, I tried my luck. On my 5th bet within 4 mins., I heard the sound of the bling, bling, bling and won $70 dollars. “Luck Be a Lady Tonight…”
*** Taking pictures with my MOM.
*** As a kid, up until I was about 15yrs old, I suffered from major motion sickness . As a kid I couldn’t go for more than 30 mins in the car before I felt pretty sick. On buses and planes it was misery for me; turning green, having to close my eyes, sweating, and if the vehicle didn’t stop soon enough, it was going to be bad for everyone else as well. One time I went on a whale watching trip in the 5th grade, I thought I was going to die. As I got older it got better, but when it comes to boats and planes, I still depend on Dramamine. On this trip out to Vegas, I flew and it was a 45min ride. As I sat down in my seat, and after buckling up, I realized I totally forgot my Dramamine. Oh, NO! When flying, it’s usually the first 10mins when it’s intense. I kept my eyes on a fixed object and went through the wobbly and shaky feeling of taxing, picking up speed on the take off path, and then starting to lift into the air (breath). We finally leveled off…after 45mins of trying to keep my mind occupied, I made it without the barf bag.
YES! I felt a little bit more like an adult, grown up . No more barf bags (at least for 1hr or less plane rides) .
PURPOSE: Work and business related.
*** My family maybe an owner of a NRB (no-rah-bang) near UNLV. If that happens…I may get over my stubborn unwillingness to sing publicly. PLEASE, pray for my family and this new business venture, for guidance especially.
NEVER: Leave without eating at the Bellagio’s Buffet. SO, DANG GOOD!!

| Sorry, about not being able to see my wonderful, professional pictures from my last entry. Let me know if you would like to see them. I will send you a special link.
I've been suffering from chronic stiffness in the neck and shoulder area more often than not lately, which has been the cause of my tension headaches. So, i decided to go and get a massage. I found out that my tra-pe-zi-us muscle (A muscle with origin from the superior nuchal line, the external occipital protuberance, the nuchal ligament, the spinous processes of the seventh cervical and thoracic vertebrae, with insertion into the lateral third of the posterior surface of the clavicle, the medial side of the acromion, and the upper border of the spine of the scapula, with nerve supply from the accessory nerve and the cervical plexus, and whose action draws the head to one side or backward and rotates the scapula) is in knots, my spine needs to be adjusted, and it's causing pinched nerves in my neck, which explains my headaches. I got treated for 50 minutes, and afterwards i felt like i grew an inch. It's sad, my body is wearing down. Anyone else having problems with tension? What helps? The massage helped relieve the discomfort for now, but is it something i have to life with?
I experienced something for the 1st time last night...
This was on my way home from school (9:30PM). I had about a quarter of a mile, before i would get off on Artesia, from the 5FWY. Initially I was slowing down to get off on the ramp, when I noticed my car was losing speed on the FWY. From 60MPH down to 40MPH my car started to sputter, and i still had my foot on the gas. I had NO gas, and at this point i was running on fumes. (Stupid ARRRRSSSS -) Yes, the warning light did come on prior, but i was hoping to get to a gas station that was closer to home. I thought i would make it. I continually stared and kept watch of the gas tank dial, which didn't hit the last line/notch at E(mpty). As i was approaching the exit, it stopped sputtering, and just started to die, while all of my red warning lights lit up. It's so bad, that your steering wheel locks when your car dies and you don't have control. I would think power steering would still work. As i was now coasting and hitting the bottom of the off ramp, i was praying i wouldn't come across anymore RED lights, because i had to make it through 2 traffic lights before i would hit Texaco. I cleared the first one. At this point my car was dead, and all i could do was literally scoot my body forward and back to keep the momentum going. For a moment it looked like i wasn't going to even have a chance to see if i could beat the 2nd light. "Maxie" was now dragging at 1-2MPH. I thought that i would have to call on AAA. I was already feeling the embarrassment of them finding me a block away from a gas station, and needing gas. I would have probably walked because of my pride and feeling ridiculous about it. Instead of finally hitting the breaks, not that i needed to, i got the instinct to turn off my engine and to turn it back on. I don't know why or how it worked but it gave me a little more power to approach the 2nd traffic light. If it was red, i was going to run it. Surprisingly, the light stayed green for me. I made it and i coasted right into the station. It was a 3-5 minute incident that felt like forever. I felt bad for "Maxie" so i filled it up with Premium.
That's what i get for nagging and not understanding how people sometimes seem to hold out to put in gas, or wait for the tank to get close to empty before filling up.
